A Joke

A little girl was conting for her math teacher. "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, ten!" "Didn't you forget somthing?" Prompted the teacher "what happened to the nine?" "No" replied the girl seven ate nine.

A Joke

An elephant was drinking out of a river one day when he saw a turtle asleep on a log. He marched over and kicked it clear across the river. "What did you do that for" asked a giraffe that happened to be passing by. "Because I recognised it as the same turtle that took a nip out of my trunk 53 years ago". "Wow what a memory!" exclaimed the giraffe. "Yes" said the elephant "it's a case of turtle recall."

Bountiful Lake April 2008

One sunday evening in April we rode our bikes around Bountiful Lake. It was very fun. Markaye is so cute.

Shadow was so thrilled to be there he gave up running with 4 legs and flew around the lake.

"Easterin" 2008

I just read some blogs and I'm encouraged that it really isn't that hard. Kevin and I gave it a stab back in December, but didn't get very far. Here goes again. This picture was on conference Sunday. Kevin got Mike and the boys to build the biggest, coolest card house between conference sessions. Don't try this at home and if you do, washclothes are the key ingredient. We went to visit Great Grandma Brown before going to Richfield for "Easter". She was happy to have us there and we enjoyed the visit. She seemed just like herself except she had oxygen tubes that she took out for the picture. I thought we were going to see the end of her right there, but LaJune reassured us that she'd be fine for a little bit. I can't help but stand in amazement at the legacy she has created in her time here on earth.

Glen and Karin's blog has the same pictures we do. we should have gone together to Goblin Valley. What a fun place! I decided it is the play ground Heavenly Father built for kids. We had our own Goblins at our campground complete with fabulous sand.

The kids loved to pose in all the different formations and I just couldn't help taking pictures. They are such cute kids.

Markaye was wishing for a nap.

We went to dead horse point also. It was amazing. There's 30 feet of land with huge canyons on each side. The ranchers would corral the wild horses on one side to keep them from running off. A group of horses died there once because they couldn't get water-hence the name. We hiked around the edge. Wow! was that an experience.

Arches was our last destination on this little trip. We camped right on the Colorado river which was beautiful. The kids loved to roast their hot dogs and marshmellows on the fire. The sand and rocks were so much fun.
